An Apostille is an another term for legal verification, which comes from the French territory means certify or authenticate. In simple words, it is a legal recognition and it plays a vital role in enhancing your international relations. Countries that are included in the Hague Convention recognizes this verification for outside documents. The stamp or sticker provided by the destination country is named Apostille and which will imprint to the backside of the original document to verify it is legitimate and authentic. After that your document will be accepted in the intended country where you are planning to go or shift. This is a type of attestation in which documents are legalized in a particular format that is acceptable in all nations that belong to the Hague Convention. Apostille stamp is a square shaped computer generated sticker stamp, pasted on the reverse side of the document. This is a unique computer generated stamp having a unique identification number, through which any country member of The Hague convention can check its authenticity online. Under normal circumstances, once the document is certified, it does not require to be attested further from the concerned embassy. If a document is legalized, it does not require to be attested.
Apostille Procedure :
Apostille can be done in any certificate. Original certificate should be submitted for this. Passport copy should also be provided as a supporting document.
